Chia - Sardinia (Italy)
Those who are lucky enough to live in the area or have decided to spend their holidays there define it as “paradisiacal”. The colour of the sea and the nature that still reigns supreme are a real magnet. Chia is loved by those who want to respect it and get to know its true essence.
Dunes of very fine sand, a sea suitable for bathing, centuries-old junipers and Mediterranean scrub characterise the kilometres of Chia beach.
Porto Campana, Su Giudeu, Cala Cipolla are just some of the best-known beaches. Each of these has special characteristics that make the coast a real world to discover. Not just beach and sea, but also lots of flora and fauna. The beauty of the area, however, contrasts with its delicacy: the dune system is an extremely delicate ecosystem that must be respected and safeguarded by everyone.
Not far from the beaches of Chia there are other dream coves, also more or less known. The most famous beach is certainly that of Tuerredda. Much loved by travellers from all over the world but not very liveable in high season because it is literally taken by storm. Better to visit it with our dinghies.
Have you ever heard of Cala Zafferano? It is located further west, in the municipality of Teulada. It cannot be reached by land because it is located inside a large military polygon. It can only be visited by sea and is easily reached from Chia.
This unique villa ‘trio’ was built by the architect Gabriel Bertossa, on the hills overlooking the sea of Chia. They horizontally extend on the hill and blend into the local landscape without disturbing it. Each villa unit has its own dimensions and characteristics but what combines them all are the minimalist architectural design elements and the accurate furnishing. You are connected to nature and the view, but still embedded and enjoying total privacy on the grounds.
There are three rather independent villa units (a, b, c)each one with its fully equipped kitchen, living-dining area, and terraces, sharing the swimming pool and garden.
Each of the two larger units (a, c) is composed of four double bedrooms each with ensuite shower room; the smaller unit (b) has one double bedroom and one shower room.
Inside
Units(a) and (c) are almost identical and each have a spacious, open plan living and dining area, with direct access to the semi-covered veranda through floor to ceiling glass sliding doors, creating an extension of the living area.
Unit (b) is located in between (a) and (c) and consists of a spacious open living and dining room with built in kitchen, with direct access to the terrace and garden and with sea view.
All ground level bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens (a, b, c) have floor to ceiling glass sliding doors, overlook the garden/pool and have sea view
