Technical info
Postcard sea, equipped and accessible beach, amazing landscapes all around. Baccu Mandara beach occupies the eastern limit of the Geremeas coast, in the part of the locality belonging to the Municipality of Maracalagonis.
The sea is clear, with light blue tones, with a sandy bottom which degrades rapidly after a few metres. The sand is clear with medium-large grains. Behind, thick vegetation surrounds the entire beach, on which even a few small dunes peep out. Thanks to its particular exposure to the Baccu Mandara winds, it is an ideal destination for sailing, wind and kite surfing enthusiasts, while snorkelling enthusiasts can explore the rocks at the foot of the promontory.
And don’t leave before sunset, when the sun, setting behind the horizon line, offers fantastic plays of color, dyeing the shoreline pink and the sand gold. Another surprise awaits you as you pass the cliff around the rocky spur on the left: behind it opens a ’hidden’ cove, with a crescent shape, sheltered from the wind and with a shallower seabed, where sand alternates with rocks.
