Lush Mediterranean vegetation extends for kilometers in the bay of Cala di Volpe, in the territory of Arzachena, where myrtle hedges and suggestive juniper groves look out over the sea bent by the mistral wind. It is one of the best-known locations for luxury tourism, but offers wide accommodation choices for all types of holidaymakers.

The inlet contains four splendid beaches: Cala di Volpe, Liscia Ruja, Petra Bianca and Petra Niedda. The beaches are of modest size, made up of the characteristic medium-grained sand, typical of this splendid portion of the island. The seabed is low and slopes slowly towards the open sea, immersing itself in transparent and bold blue water. Granite rocks emerge from the waves which make the coastal landscape even more typical.

The heart of the bay is the tourist village which overlooks the sea thanks to a small port, an ideal landing place for various types of boats, especially large yachts. From here you can leave for guided tours at sea or, from May to September, take advantage of the boat taxi service, deep sea fishing, boat, dinghy and jet ski rental. All around there are accommodation facilities of every category, including some of the most luxurious hotels in all of Sardinia.

The strategic position of the bay offers easy access to other famous beaches of the Costa Smeralda such as del Principe, Romazzino, Li Ittricceddi, del Grande and Piccolo Pevero. Immediately behind the village are the most famous golf courses on the island and in Europe. Designed in 1972, it offers a splendid view of the entire bay reaching the sea with its meadows.
