Santo Stefano is also called Cala Tramazzu, and is located between the beaches of Villasimius, in Southern Sardinia, near the Cala Caterina subdivisions, near Capo Carbonara.

The beach is characterised by not very fine white sand, of a golden white colour. The beach has an arch shape, and is well sheltered from the mistral wind, thanks to the presence of a sort of cliff behind the beach.

The crystalline sea has changing colors between turquoise, green and blue. There are pebbles in the initial part of the seabed and large boulders are scattered in random order along the beach and in the water, which make the beach truly suggestive.

There are also small rocky coves, in the northern part, where the wind is completely absent. In front of the beach stands the islet of Santo Stefano.

Santo Stefano beach is on average frequented during the summer period, especially by those who spend their holidays in southern Sardinia.
